About 175 leaders and supporters of Hawaii’s agriculture and agricultural biotechnology industries attended this year’s Taste of Ag reception at Brasserie Du Vin in Chinatown. Guests included elected and government officials, HCIA members, local farmers, Office of Hawaiian Affairs Trustees, and University of Hawaii officials. The annual event featured remarks by HCIA president Fred Perlak and a menu showcasing locally grown produce and Hawaii-raised beef and seafood.
