Environmental Activist Apologizes for Years of Opposition to GM Foods

Mark Lynas, a British environmentalist who, by his own account, helped to begin the anti-GM movement in the mid 1990s, recently apologized for his arguments against GM foods at this year's Oxford Farming Conference. Lynas explained, "I discovered science, and in the process I hope I became a better environmentalist."
