Matthew Tuthill, Ph.D., a molecular biology instructor at Kapiolani Community College with 20 years of experience in recombinant/bioengineering techniques, explains why the GMO debate and the current Senate Bill 2279 in the Hawaii State Legislature regarding GMO labeling is complicated.  He lays out the hard facts concerning GMOs—positive facts that are often overlooked—and the myths that are perpetuated with no evidence to substantiate their claims.
