Community

We understand that we are part of a community, and strive to maintain contacts and give back to that community where we live, work and play. Our members sponsor many charitable groups and community events, and organize frequent tours for schools. These tours help to educate students and others about the farming industry, and how it provides a livelihood for our workers and helps to keep alive the agricultural legacy of the islands.

Among the many community programs and events supported by HCIA and its members through fundraising, sponsorships and volunteering:

  • Ag in the Classroom
  • Dollars and volunteerism for various health and human services in the islands including food drives, Blood Bank drives, youth and family services, and other health-focused nonprofits
